    Electrical Load Monitoring

This is the process of measuring the amount of electrical power consumed over time by a building, facility, or specific equipment. It involves continuously tracking and recording parameters like voltage, current, power factor, and energy usage.

Data provides a detailed record of how, when, and where electricity is used by the specified building, facility or equipment.

Why is electrical load monitoring important?

Electrical load monitoring provides vital data for the expansion of your installations. In addition, the overloading of electrical systems can be a safety hazard. Electrical load monitoring can provide information to ensure that electrical usage stays within safe load limits, helping to prevent potential hazards, such as fires.

Electrical load monitoring involves the following steps:

  • Installation: Installing a meter and CTs to the electrical system for a period of time.

  • Data Collection: These devices continuously record data about electrical usage

  • Data Transmission: Data is transmitted to a central system for analysis

  • Analysis and Reporting: Data is analysed by software tools, providing our clients with a detailed analysis of their energy consumption, so they can make informed decisions about energy usage
